The web platform, Banking History of Latin America and Spain, intends to encourage communication among experts by promoting their papers, articles, books, seminars, conferences and other academic activities; thus permitting to articulate these achievements in the field through dialogue and mutual exchange.

The editorial and academic rigor of this site is pivotal for our identity, for that reason the content of the site is supervised by the Editorial Board, a body that works along with the Academic Council and the Banks’ Archive Committee. In this section the functions and members of the mentioned bodies’ functions are briefly described.

    The Editorial Board is in charge of supervising the site regularly, including review of the information compiled and generation of new content in the research field of the Banking History in Spain and Latin America.
    Directly under the Editorial Board is the Operating Committee, in charge of day to day maintenance of the site, which is formed by Guillermo Barragán, Daniel Fernández and Abelardo Herrero.
